Purchased for my son as he wanted a FHD monitor with a high refresh rate for gaming.
He is delighted with it as it does exactly what he wants.
The screen is reasonably matte so reflections aren’t an issue and whilst it isn’t the highest specification or resolution it preforms and works well.
The height adjustable (& rotational) stand feels and works better than expected and with the slim bezels it presents itself well.
There aren’t any speakers but it’s easy to connect a soundbar to the 3.5mm audio output (headphone jack) on the monitor so that you can hear the sound from whichever input you have chosen.
It is too early to comment on longevity or reliability but so far we are very pleased.

I bought this monitor 3 weeks ago and it’s really good for the price

Bought as a birthday gift. I just opened it to test the specs. I’ve tested it for 30 minutes and then boxed it up. The screen itself is flawless and the refresh rate seems to be working well. The display is really good and even though the monitor doesn’t have speakers, the jack output is really good. Time will tell when my son gets it for his birthday. Nevertheless, Lenovo products are literally great.

Bought this for my son’s combined Christmas and Birthday present(s). He loves it, as it is great for his gaming and graphics work. A 3-year manufacturer’s warranty, though we got the one-off accidental cover, too. We strongly recommend.

I brought this as I needed an extra monitor for streaming, this monitor became my main monitor as it’s bright, colourful and overall a very good monitor. The only downside is it doesn’t have any speakers so audio has to be through my over monitor or headset for now.

I recently bought the Lenovo Legion monitor from Argos and have been genuinely impressed. The picture quality is crisp and vibrant, with colours that look accurate straight out of the box. The high refresh rate makes a noticeable difference in everyday use and gaming — everything feels smooth and responsive.
Setup was quick, the stand feels sturdy, and the overall build quality is better than I expected at this price. Connectivity options are generous, and switching between devices is effortless. It runs quietly, stays cool, and the menu system is easy to navigate.

⭐ Overall
A strong choice for competitive and fast-paced gaming on a budget. This 27″ Full HD 240 Hz monitor delivers smooth motion and responsive performance, making it ideal for esports, shooters, racing games, and general gaming.
⸻
🔆 Brightness
• Features a 300 cd/m² peak brightness, which is solid for indoor gaming and non-HDR content.
• Not blazing bright compared with high-end HDR displays, but enough to keep colours vibrant and detail visible in most lighting conditions.
👍 Pros: Bright enough for typical use.
⚠️ Cons: Won’t compete with premium HDR-600+ monitors if you’re after super punchy highlights.
⸻
🎨 Color & Image Quality
• Covers ≈99 % of the sRGB colour gamut, so colours are rich and fairly accurate for gaming, movies, and everyday tasks.
• HDR10 compatibility enhances contrast and dynamic range slightly, though the monitor isn’t a true “HDR flagship”.
• IPS panel delivers wide viewing angles and better colour consistency than TN or VA panels.
👍 Pros: Vivid colours and wide viewing angles.
⚠️ Cons: Full colour depth and HDR impact are limited by the FHD panel and brightness level.
⸻
🧍 Ergonomics / Stand
• The stand offers tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustment, letting you fine-tune your setup for comfort.
• VESA 100×100 support means you can mount it on arms or wall brackets easily.
• Anti-glare coating helps reduce reflections during long sessions.
👍 Pros: Highly adjustable stand for better posture and viewing comfort.
⚠️ Cons: Assembly and desk space requirements are typical for 27″ screens.
⸻
🔄 Refresh Rate
• A 240 Hz panel is fantastic for gaming — movement looks ultra-smooth, and fast reactions feel more precise compared to standard 60 Hz or 144 Hz screens.
• Works with AMD FreeSync Premium and Adaptive Sync, reducing tearing and stutter when matched with a compatible GPU.
👍 Pros: Excellent for competitive gaming and fast action.
⚠️ Cons: To fully benefit, your PC or console needs to push high frame rates consistently.
⸻
⚡ Response Time
• Advertises a very quick 0.5 ms MPRT response — effectively reducing motion blur and ghosting in gameplay.
• In real use, motion clarity is noticeably better than slower panels, keeping fast objects crisp and readable during intense sequences.
👍 Pros: Sharp motion and minimal blur.
⚠️ Cons: Real-world performance depends on settings and game engine; some overshoot may still occur in extreme cases.
⸻
🧠 Final Thoughts
Best For:
✔️ Competitive gamers and esports lovers
✔️ Fast-paced shooters, racing, and online titles
✔️ A solid all-round gaming setup on a budget
Not Ideal For:
❌ Professional photo/video editing where deep colour/precision matters
❌ Rooms with very bright lighting where higher brightness would help
⸻
Overall Rating: ⭐ 4.5/5
A compelling gaming monitor that ticks all the major boxes for refresh, responsiveness, colour, and adjustability without costing a fortune.
