Lasted 2 and a half years. Just out of warranty. Really poor for such an expensive bit of kit.

This is a great bit of kit when working but has a design flaw that, after research, found out a lot of other users have also experienced. Unfortunately it tends to appear just out of the warranty period, in my case just under 3 months out of the 2 year warranty. If you use this regularly, the constant opening and closing of the lid causes stress issues with the cables that run through the hinge and they will ultimately break causing the unit to be pretty much useless. It is not an easy fix either so you generally have to discard the air fryer. I think a quality appliance like this should last for a lot longer so I would advise against buying this Air Fryer if longevity is a requirement, do you own research before buying.

I would definitely agree with some of the comments, it is great while it lasts and now it’s out of the warranty period things are going wrong with it. The pot itself you will have to replace as it starts peeling even though I do not use abrasive cleaners.

Bought this a couple of years ago and use it one or twice a week. It was really handy, and I enjoyed the quick heating times, temperature probe functions and pressure cooker especially. Unfortunately, the fan in the lid stopped spinning but I didn’t spot that whilst it was pre-heating – so I came to get the food once it finished cooking and it had just burned the top of the food rather than blow heat all around. It’s now out of warranty so can’t be fixed without a costly repair.

Great product, well worth every penny spend. Easy to use. Multiple options means you can declutter kitchen easily

I’ve had this for a couple of years now, was really pleased with it and used several functions without issue BUT just after the warranty expired it started to error with ‘Add Pot’ despite the pot being in there with 2kg of potatoes and water, constantly beeping and then miraculously finding the pot before I even got to the machine… trying to do anything like sautéing now is so frustrating, every stir moves the pot and then it stops with ‘Add Pot’, so I have to wear an oven glove on one hand to hold the pot in just the right position so I can stir and cook, even then it beeps and errors and then restarts constantly. No help from Ninja, no advice other than replace it. Very expensive in the first place, and judging by other negative reviews sensor / wire errors seem common failures after warranty expiration.

Great item but not built to last.
This item broke 3 times in less than 3 years.
First issue was after 18 months with the lid and the item was replaced under warranty.
The replacement item lasted nearly 12 months and we then had an issue with the fan not working.
    Another replacement item was sent.
This didnt even last 6 months before we had the same issue with the fan.
Appears to me like replacement items are built to get you past warranty and then you need to buy a new one.
The price of this item, you would expect it to last longer!

I had previously had a combi ninja, but to steam or pressure you had to change lids. This one you don’t. Which makes it’z versatility much easier to use. It died after 9 years so it was a no brainer to get a new one.

Same experience as others. I absolutely loved the multicooker when it was working but 18months in the wiring in the hinge of the lid stopped it from working. As we bought direct we got another multicooker through the extended guarantee. Problem is another 9months later it started malfunctioning again because of the pressure sensor inside the cooker became slightly dislodged and now it doesn’t register the pot. Now it only works if you shake it constantly or are brave enough to stick something in to move the sensor.
