Handy portable hard drive at a very reasonable price. Very easy to use with no set-up required – I just plugged it into my laptop and it was ready. The only issue I had was it only comes with a USB type A connector and I needed a USB type C. It was easy to buy a new lead separately though.

I bought this product to replace an existing external hard drive that was showing signs of failing and have been very impressed with its ease of use and reliability.

I purchased this unit to back up the data on my mobile phone, sadly I kept getting an error message. So I returned the item.
I will probably get a Samsung flash drive which should allow me to backup my data, problem is twofold first the price, and secondly the size, flash drives are so small and easily lost or mislaid.
However the service i received from Argos was excellent. From ordering to refund 5 stars all the way.

I’ve had this hard drive for just over two weeks now, there was a bit of an issue at one point where it kept turning itself off after about half a minute then rebooting. But I tried it on a different usb port and it seems to be working fine again now. Not sure what that was about as it was working fine in that usb port previously and had copied quite a bit over from my PC. I hope it continues working as I want it for a backup once I’ve copied everything over to my laptop. It seems pretty quick, and has a decent amount of storage. It’s small too – about the size of my mobile phone!

Lowest price for a 1tb hard drive that I could find. Needed to reformat to use with a Mac (Time Machine) but that was pretty straightforward.

I brought this because I needed more storage for my ps5 it works perfectly

All good so far! Plugged in and had to format for Mac. Only complaint is instructions weren’t clear for how to do so, so went to google for an answer!
