This is the first hard drive I’ve ever bought so wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s really easy to use. It’s a USB 3 so you may need an adapter if your laptop or Mac is USB-C but they’re easy to pick up online. The only downside I encountered and it’s not the fault of this hard drive but on my Mac I have 2 USB-C ports next to one another so with adapters fitted I can’t transfer from an old memory stick to this new hard drive. I’m going to have to transfer them onto my Mac first and then transfer them to the hard drive which is a bit of a pain but as I said it’s not the fault of the hard drive but maybe it will help someone that I’ve mentioned this

I had a previous model of this witch lasted many years. Hoping this one lasts as long. It’s smaller didn’t need setting up, and used straight away.

You can’t get too excited about a portable hard drive (can you.. ?) but this ‘plug and go’ Seagate hard drive, with a nice textured appearance, worked perfectly when connected to my daughter’s Windows 11 laptop and its 1 TB capacity should satisfy her storage requirements for years to come.

I’ve used Seagate drives for a number of years, mostly high capacity units for bulk image storage and compatibility with MS and iOS. In having recently swapped to Mac for photo editing I wanted a small, portable, reliable drive . What bettter than another Seagate? 1 TB is more than enough back-up to usefully use on location. Its compatible with both Windows and Mac iOS and the interface is similar across both formats. This is a great little unit, a comparative bargain by Seagate standards and just as reliable as its bigger brothers – if youre in the market for reasonably priced, high portability, good quality storage….. get this, you wont regret it!

Just bought this recently and it’s exactly what I needed! I had low storage on my laptop so this does what I need. Importing files to the drive was easy, its size making it perfect to bring it around.
