This keyboard is very easy to use, the trackpad is also great. I chose this one because it doesn’t require charing (it gets power from the ipad) and it also doesn’t require a Bluetooth connection. it simply magnets to the iPad and it works without any set up.

This is a really good keyboard to use the iPad like a MacBook. The trackpad works well. Although not perfectly all the time. And if you’re used to tapping rather than clicking you have to switch that option on in the settings. It’s solid and protects the iPad well.
I didn’t do tons of research before I bought it and there’s a couple of things I wish I’d known. I may have still bought it anyway.
– The keyboard is detachable, but doesn’t function when it’s not attached
– When opening the case up, there is nothing in the design to help Open it so it’s taken me a little while to work out how to do it simply and easily. I tend to slide the case against the screen to make a gap to open it
– the main but I wish I’d realised is, The keyboard part of the case is the screen cover. So that means if you don’t have the keyboard, then the screen is not protected although the back of the iPad is. When I’m taking it in to see customers, I don’t want the keyboard with me. So I’ve got a screen protector on the iPad, it feels a little exposed and vulnerable. And if I do take the Keyboard in with me, when I open the iPad and just want to use the screen and not the keyboard, there is only a strong magnet holding the keyboard on. It doesn’t hinge so you then have to put the keyboard/cover down somewhere and it doesn’t feel particularly smooth and elegant.
Some recommendation is that if you will be using the iPad like a Mac book Most of the time, then this is brilliant. But if you will be opening the case up to use the iPad with the touchscreen lots, then it might not be for you.

I purchased this from Argos. The idea of turning your iPad into a mini computer is great. The keyboard and case are very well made, but the case was so tight I could not fit the iPad into it, so I had to take it back to Argos. Argos were very good and gave me a refund straight away.

Fantastic keyboard — exactly what I wanted as an alternative to using my laptop. It is a little heavy, but the keyboard detaches easily, and I can switch to using it as a touchscreen iPad in seconds. The trackpad is comparable to a laptop, if not better. Easy to connect and set up. Great price and very durable material overall.
