We bought this to replace a former Cookworks kettle that stopped working after about 5 years. However the design of this new model is not as good: The lid is smaller and does not open all the way fully, making filling it from the tap a bit awkward. The spout is rounded as opposed to pointed like the previous model so pouring does not feel as controlled. It may be a case of having to get used to the new design. Other than that it is a super kettle that meets expectations of the Cookworks brand.
