I bought it about a month ago as it ticked all my requirements for the cctv. However, it turned out that the interface and the setting up process are very complicated.
I am not happy with this purchase. Waste of money.

I bought this because my old ‘box’ lost HDMI output. I was told there is no replacement as it is over 10 years old. The new one is a good system. Uses the old wiring which saves a lot of hassle. It also works with my old cameras! Which I was told it wouldn’t. I only found out because I accidentally connected up an old one.

Everything with this product was looking great until it was set up, andthat was by following the set up guide to the letter.
No images from any of the 4 cameras, and then could not connect the drive to the app, simply would not handshake so it went back in the box and returned.

I was not happy with this purchase as it had obviously been opened before and items including the Manual had been removed!! Very complex to try and set up without the documentation………….

Excellent bit of kit, don’t get me wrong, this is hard to install yourself, but with some Patience it is very secure. Would highly recommend, especially if you feel your WiFi is vulnerable. Wired to VXR box with options to backup to a USB. Quality night vision and quality AI detection. Only downside is the AI feature is only available for up to four cameras so choose wisely if you have the full 8. Would recommend using an expert guide or AI assistant to guide you through the set up as there are a lot of settings and features. But it hasn’t let me down once. Doesn’t need to be online to record. It has been a life saver. Literally.
