Seems to be fine however now and then when turning on the plug it makes a weird sound and light flash. Not sure if this is normal or not???

Bought this to replace another with a shorter cable. The plug sockets are quite close together so chunkier plugs can’t be inserted opposite another and we have had to leave two sockets empty.

This lead is poorly designed. With each socket being directly opposite each other you can’t use half of them if you have longer plugs, which come on certain chargers and other products. The previous one I had came with the sockets offset from each other and each socket had individual power control. I only purchased this one for the number of sockets and surge protection, but I can’t use half of them and have to keep unplugging things which defeats the purpose of having so many sockets.

I should have thought twice and looked properly before buying this. Because of the orientation of the sockets, longer style plugs will not fit opposite each other, which is really limiting. A shame because the build quality is good and the USB ports are useful.

Every socket is a tad tight so I need to exert some effort to insert and remove each plug. Also they are a bit close to one another so I firsee some larger plugs clashing or any unusual oriented plugs to not fit well with others adjacent. The usb-a will not charge my cheap watch so I suspect low voltage charging an issue. Usb-c socket is handy but yet to try

My old Belkin protector lasted over 15 years and did a first rate job. After the last power cut/surge (not sure which) it died so time for a new replacement naturally Belkin again
