I’ve had this Chromebook for six months and it gets hammered every day: thrust into my backpack and unfolded on a variety of narrow lecture-theatre “desks”. It has never missed a beat, and works reliably every time. It’s just a laptop – but I feel a bit attached to it, now. (It cost less at Argos than Amazon, and was a quarter the price of my fellow-students’ Macbooks, and seems, anecdotally, to have better battery life). Thanks, Argos!

I purchased to replace a very old heavy laptop that was no longer used a lot, but I needed something bigger than my phone and had a sizable keyboard.
So it was a choice between a tablet with a keyboard or this Chromebook and I am so glad I chose this, it is light, easy to use and due to it being Google everything from passwords ect that are held on Google went straight over to it. Very easy to use and is just the job for my home use.

I decided to switch to a budget chromebook as my windows laptop isnt windows 11 ready. Runs beautifully, syncs easily with phone and does a lot with it’s medium spec hardware

I brought this Chromebook for my daughter to do her homework on. It has all the resources that she needs , allowing her to open all the files from her school website so that she can do her homework and do web searches for any information she needs and with it being tied into the Google parent app, I can see what she’s doing and know that when she’s looking online that it will be age appropriate listed in the worry. As a parent, the actual laptop has a lovely large screen, very responsive keys and a very sturdy build. And as a parent, I do appreciate the fact that Google won’t let her download anything with spyware on it or any other viruses as it’s pre-scanned before they get to it. And as I said before with the parental controls I can control how long and what she can search for or use the computer for

Having some trouble using the Chrome book as it’s operating system is different to normal word etc but with use and a book Chrome for Dummies, if there is one, I am sure I will be ok 👍

This is far better for our needs than the windows 11 computer, I had previously. Excellent extras without additional fees, such as, not needing anti-virus and a very good word programme. Everything is very clear and user friendly. I would highly recommend this Chromebook, if you are looking for something that is bigger than a tablet and is used for everyday use, like reading and sending emails, researching the internet and shopping online.
