It switches on accompanied by an unnecessary, very loud “welcoming” sound, which I found annoying and also the controls were difficult to operate. I returned the item.

It was a strech to give 4 stars. It has power sound and a bass along with the nice music elumination.
And it is actually very easy to connect and play using Bluetooth!
On the down side:
– very hard to navgate through, if you use usb with quite few almbums
– lowest sound setting is still way to loud.
– buttons feel cheap, wobbly and a bit unresponsive
