I am very happy with this product upgrade was on point useing it mostly for gameing with everything on highest settings works perfectly.
Only downside to that is battery life (of course due to power being used on higher settings)
So would get about 2 hours for what I want to do.
To be honest probably wouldn’t get the bundle and get the bag and mouse separately

My old laptop had 8GB RAM and I would often hit the RAM ceiling. Due to a virus and not being in a position of having the time to solve it, I bought a new laptop (I will fix my older computer as soon as I have more time).
In my new laptop, I knew I needed to upgrade across the board – CPU, SSD Memory, Dedicated GPU, …, and RAM!
When I started searching only for Laptops with Dedicated GPUs, I soon realised that they, for some reason, seem to be always called ‘Gaming Laptops’, so I bought a ‘Gaming Laptop’ even though I don’t do any Gaming! And another thing I noticed is that Dedicated GPUs narrow massively down your available laptop purchase options, at least on Argos.
Because of that, at the time when I bought this laptop (21/10/2025), the cheapest ‘Gaming Laptop’ was (£680) and this was the one after that. At the time, I thought I needed a better CPU than the one that comes with this laptop (i5), but I can tell you that at the time of me writing this review (07/11/2025) the CPU is good enough. I mean, I am a very intensive user when it comes to multi-tasking. I normally have about 20 different programs running, 30 browser tabs open, have 15 documents open, etc. all at the same time. And this CPU seems to be often below 10% and the most I have seen it get is at about 33%. Now, I think the reason for this might be that the GPU takes a significant chunk off the CPU load. So, if a laptop has a Dedicated GPU, it doesn’t need the same CPU, i.e. to be as advanced as it would otherwise need to be (for example, with an Integrated GPU, you may need an i7, but with a Dedicated GPU, an i5 may well produce the same results.
When I bought this Gaming Laptop (GL) I wanted to buy a GL with a better CPU than the one that comes with this one (i5), so I wanted an i7/Ryzen 7+. The reason why I was not able to buy it was because all GLs after the two cheapest GLs I priced above had a delivery/collection waiting time of 4-5 days. Literally all GLs above the price of the one I bought it for [£850].
And because I needed a new laptop as soon as possible, because my old one had a virus and I didn’t have the time to fix it immediately, I was in a way forced to buy this one – the two cheapest GLs were available within the same day.
It turns out the CPU is actually good enough.
The only thing I don’t like, and I am surprised by it, is that I have already hit the 16-GB RAM ceiling in the space of 2 and a half weeks. This happened on 02/11/2025 – so less than 2 weeks after I had bought the GL – while I was doing my first videocall in it which completely froze the laptop for at least 15 minutes even after I had closed 5 of my open programmes. The computer was so unresponsive that it forced me to press the power button to shut it down.
And even during my normal use of this GL, the RAM is consistently around the 70-80% mark. This is definitely not good if you want to make a future-proof purchase!
Conclusion: Only buy this Gaming Laptop if you, like me, are in an emergency-like situation and need the new laptop as soon as possible. Otherwise, if you, like me, are an heavy user in terms of multi-tasking, but can wait 5 days to receive your new laptop, then I would recommend you going for a laptop that has at least 32GB of RAM. (I know it seems a lot, but in my personal experience, going from an 8GB-RAM old laptop to a 16GB-RAM new laptop is not enough of an upgrade.)
This is the reason why I gave this Gaming Laptop 4 out of 5 stars.
