I BOUGHT THIS PRINTER THIS MONTH 12 FEB 2026 FROM ARGOS.I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO PRINT WITH IT! PROBLEMS WITH THE DRIVER NOT DOWN LOADING TO MY LAPTOP. TRIED HARD TO GET IT GOING USING ADVICE ON LINE . WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Bought to replace a Canon colour inkjet printer which require a new ink printer head. A new canon part would have cost the same as this new Brother laser printer.
Logical to set up and use, and way, way cheaper to run

Had this for 2 weeks to replace my Samsung mono laser which I had for about 20 yrs. This Brother has equally good print quality, prints wirelessly on WiFi, but it felt that I have set it up somewhat by chance. I can print from my mobile, which is a bonus. Toners cost similar. Sometimes it gives off what appears to be white smoke, but I think it’s likely to be steam from the paper’s dampness. I’d like to know if it can be left ON. I switch it off with the button but that means it doesn’t power up remotely. Hope to find an answer.

Had this printer for about 4/5 months and it’s proved easy to set up, reliable, quiet and the printouts are of as good a quality as you could hope for at this price.
