I bought the Canon Pixma G3570 Printer. Good points are that it uses Ink Tanks instead of cartridges so printing should be cheaper. An instruction booklet would be useful, rather than having to download one from the Canon website. Fairly easy to set up for basic printing and copying but I have not yet fathomed how to do double sided printing nor have I used the scanner facility yet.

Bought in the last couple of weeks, easy to set up, most devices seemed to fing and connect to it ok, awesome ink system, a bottle of ink in each colour, ideal for large print runs at sensible costs.

Printer Review:
I have had this printer for a few weeks now and so far so good. It was easy to set up and was put to use straight away. The overall look of the printer is boxy similar to most printers these days which opt for basic design over innovative mouldings and sleek looks. The control function on the printer is basic and seems flawless, the integration with the local computers is easy after downloading the software, without the software its a pain but eventually you can connect to it. Using phones with the app is impressive but disappointed that it is NOT an AirPrint despite the misleading advertising on the Argos website. Not that it matters much because you can still send items to the printer but in an unorthodox manner. The build quality is not brilliant and was shocked to see stress marks on the plastic trays which look very fragile so handled those with care. I was in two minds whether to take it back because it seemed abnormal but then noticed this was evident on most of the casing. Cheap plastic and rapid assembly no doubt so I don’t have much confidence the printer tray will last longer than the ink, this is poor by canons standards so not sure why they have allowed this.
Argos Experience Review:
This was the second attempt to purchase this item, first attempt was flawed with being offered a used item when collecting which I refused to accept. The moron on the till had the cheek to say this was acceptable and it is within the policy to sell nearly new items in saleable condition. I complained about this and was offered a £30 voucher for my troubles. Seems ridiculous Argos are doing this despite the denial from customer services, I have made a conscious decision to never purchase electrical items from Argos again due to this experience. Brand new means brand new, unopened and not tampered with.

I bought this Canon printer a few weeks ago to replace my HP Printer. As I have had problems with HP Printers I decided to try the Canon G3570 which had refillable ink bottles instead of the in cartridges which don’t last very long. The quality of the printing and the machine are far superior to the HP so I’m am really pleased with my purchase.

It’s a good printer, but you must print a couple of pages every week if you’re not a regular user or the tubes and print head will dry up.

Easy set-up with quick wi-fi connectivity, all functions work extremely well and brilliant print quality. The Canon PRINT app makes it easy to carry out additional functions. In addition to all of the above, it has, importantly, excellent print quality coupled with economical ink tank system.
