I bought this to replace my previous Canon A3 printer. The old could print on disc which I use a lot. Old school I know, I liked having a physical disc od my work. On the the plus side. I had 20 cartridges from my old printer I thought I would have to bin, to my surprise they are tge same type as the new printer. My old printer was only two years old though. On the whole, very pleased

I am very pleased with this product. Installation was the most straightforward that I have experienced for a printer. Printing is quick and the quality of print is excellent. Although two sided printing is manual, it is handled well.

I bought this to replace its 11 year old previous version the PIXMA iX6500. This had given great service and always produced good results. So far this new 6850 model seems as good and in some instances better. It is faster and the ink tanks allow purchase of larger capacity replacements. Lets hope its as reliable and long lasting as the old one.
