So disappointing, the base is too low and I really do not enjoy this speaker. My partner had the JBL boom box and that one was much better, I though if I order a smaller I would have at least similar quality. I have adjusted the app too but that didn’t help.

A cracking speaker with good bass. Not sure why people say there is no bass, perhaps they are expecting deep sub bass you would get from a huge 7.1 hifi system. Sounds very balanced and absolutely thrashes the Bose Soundlink Max whose bass sounds muddy in comparison and zero mids. Nice mids and highs on this Xtreme 4 that are not harsh. Dropping the 250Hz in the EQ slightly and boosting the mids slightly has made the speaker come alive. Best bang for your buck at this price range.
