The Plustek OpticSlim 1180 is a fantastic A3 flatbed scanner for its price. Designed for the scanning of scrapbooks, scientific research, newspapers and books, up to 12 x 17″ in size. Includes one-touch scan buttons to simplify the most common scanning functions.

Includes a range of bundled software tools  with image processing, document management, PDF creation, accurate OCR (optical character recognition) and TWAIN driver.

The Plustek OpticSlim 1180 Flatbed Scanner is designed for the keen arts & crafts enthusiast. This is a great scanner but it is not suitable for professional, high end photo or film scanning.
