Bought this a few weeks ago as my previous 3tb drive corrupted so needed a replacement fast.
No problems as Western Digital is a good brand. More than up to the task and a spare gigabyte of room to boot!

No setup required; just plugged in and it worked.. Comes with optional software (I didn’t install it because I have no need). Transfer speed is fine and it barely makes a sound when a data transfer is taking place.

Simple, plug in and go. Good size for its capacity. Not sure how sturdy the socket on it is, but I’ve had no problems so far.

My current 2TB Seagate drive started playing up, so I got this 4TB Western Digital to back the old one up. I’ve used WD drives before and have found them reliable. It’s plug and play. It’s palm sized. It’s black and discreet. You can’t really go wrong.

Have WD Passport that has been reliable and this seemed similar and best combination of price and projected lifespan for required 4TB from known brand. All works fine for Time Machine with Mac Mini. 5 stars provided it doesn’t fail for a few years!

I was thinking I’d have to go into central London to buy a 4TB hard drive, but my local Argos had one in stock – brilliant. Saved me lots of time.

Just what I was looking for. 4Tb external drive that I could save my music and photos on.
I bought a couple off ebay but they both had problems…sometimes, you get what you pay for. This one was £99 but worked without a hitch. I wish I had saved my money originally!!!
Just had to plug in and go. That’s how easy it was.
