This item was bought to give me plenty of backup storage for my computers. It’s working very well and I have no complaints about it.

I bought this as an external drive on which to store my backups. Being used as one of the 1-2-1 backup regime.
Good looking but a little bigger than my previous drive.
For the storage size it’s a good price.
I was concerned at first before it arrived, that I hadn’t noticed of it had a power switch – it does. Although it’s connected to the pc all the time, I only want it on when doing a backup. Security first.
Although you can hear the drive running, it’s not intrusive, so I’m happy with that.
Being a spinning rust drive, it’s not the quickest. Clearly a 5k spin speed. Although the backups can take a while, it’s not disastrous.
Good drive. Is a 7200 spin speed drive, it would have received 5 stars

Great item, It’s already formatted to NTFS for Windows PC/Laptop, so plug in and go. You don’t get the full 8TB, you get 7.27TB. Not the fastest Hard Drive, but seems very reliable at time of writing this review.

I bought this as I needed more storage. It was ready to be delivered next day, very convenient. It works well, it isnt as fast as s an SSD but it still works to store data. Awesome for backing up important files. Easy to use, set up and connect to PC via USB.

Exactly what I expected. Does the job. I need it for saving data as a bank data. Not for regular use. I have already one in use everyday working for 6 years now. Worth the money

Really impressed with the amount of data that this drive can hold – and although I didn’t use USB3 to load it it was fast enough. My only quibble is that I now need more space – I should have purchased a bigger drive!
