i bought this seveal months ago to use as storage connected to smart tv for recording and rewinding broadcast tv. i chose it because it doesn’t need a separate power supply. simple to.install, nonformattong required, works fine and had no problems

I always choose these Western Digital Passport Drives as my previous purchases, some being over 10 years old, have never given me any problems at all, and also their USB versions are mainly backward compatible with older operating systems…I trust them completely

Having previously bought Western Digital portable hard drives I was not disappointed with this device. USB3.2 compatibility means it transfers data 4 times faster than my older device with twice the capacity. Robust solid feel to it. Very pleased with it so far.
