Happy with purchase but didn’t realise that I needed a modem too. Used isp supplied modem router set in bridge mode. More cables seen lol
Easy to set up and run but instructions are lacking and terminology could be misunderstood.
Wi- fi signal strength is better coverage ok

ASUS Routers always get the job done well but as the title says this way better than expected. Gaming and editing PC upstairs was getting 500mb download (of the 960mb I pay for) since owning this my connection has rocketed to an average of 918mb download – Wireless connection too to clarify*. Easy to install and connect, took minutes. Would purchase again in a heartbeat

After my ISP provided router started playing up, I needed to pick up a replacement router very quickly. This ASUS router has been ultra reliable from day one and there is an app that takes you through the set up process as well as overall management of the router.
If you’re having trouble setting up the router, make sure you’ve got the correct login credentials for WAN which is dependent on your ISP. My favourite feature of this router is that it has built in VPN support, so I was able to set up a VPN on the router and be able to access my private network from anywhere in the world, including from abroad. This was amazing because I could still watch things like BBC iPlayer and Sky Sports in a foreign country, whilst also having peace of mind that the hotel wifi that I was using was going through a secure private network path.
The lights on the router are quite bright but can be switched off via the app. There is also a web based browser login if you do not want to use the app. Overall this is a fantastic product and I will be recommending it and ASUS to all.
