I installed this little inverter in my boat and it is no exaggeration to say I could hear the constant running cooling fan over the sound of the diesel engine. I feel misled by others reviews and totally disappointed. This product in my view it is suitable only for very noisy envirionments or where the user is unable to hear, or has significant hearing problems.
A waste of money for me as I’ve now bought a silent alternative. I wouldn’t have another even as a gift.

It does the job allowing you to plug this into your car or trucks 12v cut socket and then plugging a standard 3 pin plug into it to power laptops,shavers etc.
However, disappointments are two fold.
Firstly, an on/off switch is lacking which means you have to pull the plug out or the cable from the dcsocket to stop power. Not ideal
Secondly, this is so so so noisy. I presume with the internal fan.
It doesn’t affect performance but you don’t want to be in the same room when using unless you have ear defenders on!
