I used this for the 1st time was happy with the appearance it seemed well made but only used once then it stopped working left it a while tried again but still would not work so returned it

Very pleased with this purchase. Have used it for blending soups and making bread crumbs from stale bread – wasn’t sure it would manage that but it did to perfection. The glass jug is not too heavy to handle and together with the base has a pleasing appearance although neat enough to store in even a small cupboard if necessary.

This is great value for money. Glass jug so this can go on the dishwasher. Large capacity means making smoothies for more than one person is easy. It blends very well to an even consistency, for such a reasonably priced product. I don’t really see what extras you would get for buying the other brands, often more than £100. It doesn’t really have features above standard (it has 2 blend speeds and a pulse, fairly standard), but then I don’t really know if fancy features on expensive models are actually of any use.
