Description and pictures were not accurate which was disappointing as delivery… And return process was was excellent. G 502x model was pictured but G502 model was supplied. One letter makes a big difference and equals £60 in price difference… Unfortunately not in my favour.

Got this from Argos, as it was cheaper than Amazon, and collected it within the hour.
I’ve been using the wired versionof this for several years and decided to upgrade to the wirelss version.
I really should have done this sooner.
It fits very nicely in the hand, and the extra buttons really make a difference, especially the extra ones next to the LMB.
(I’m currently playing Fallout 4 on PC, and mapped those to TAB and VARS, with the extra thumb button mapped to hold breath. It make a massive difference to gameplay).
I installed all the weights in the mouse to give it a good heft, and it feels reassuringly sollid when moving the mouse.
The free-spining mouse wheel is a boon, too. (This can be switched to clicky-clicky, too).
The mouse is fully customisable using the Logitech hub app, and configuring the mouse features is a breeze.
Tip: turning off all the LED faffery increased the battery life by several hours.
On the battery, it lasts for ages. When the mouse first powers up, there is a three-bar indication of remaining battery.
I’ve had many gaming sessions of several hours on one charge, and end up recharging every one or two weeks, only because I feel I should.
It’s never conked out on me yet.
I can’t recommend this mouse enough.

Honestly th3 g502 hero is the best mouse I’ve ever used. I was hesitant switching to the lightspeed wireless version. The wheel is slightly lighter than the old but custom weight distribution is more even. Honestly I still feel this is a top tier mouse. I tried the new g502 plus and it felt cheap with poor build quality compared to the hero

Purchased this mouse to program the large number of.buttons for use with a broken arm. This requires you to download GHUB onto your computer which is an abysmal piece of software. Does not install, no error message, impossible to debug etc. mouse hardware is decent.

Excellent mouse fully programmable macros, nice rgb features on the side and top very accurate with easy lowering the dpi for fps sniping. All in all an excellent addition to any gaming setup
