I bought this microwave to replace a similar older style Morphy Richards microwave. This newer model is smaller inside and doesnt fit most of my dinner plates. The time setting marker is ridiculous, it is a dimple on the dial, which you can barely see, because it is same colour as the dial and it is quite wide, not a straight line. This makes it so hard to know how long you are programming the time for. I have to use a seperate kitchen timer because of this. A really bad buy and I won’t buy a Morphy Richards Microwave in the future.

Bought this a week ago to replace a De Longie that not only had paint coming off from under the plate, but condensation poured out when the door opened. This is very basic, heats at the correct temperature every time. Just right for a single pensioner.

I should have thought about this before buying, but the dial to set timing makes setting for short bursts really awkward. It is fine for longer lengths of cooking but if you want a quick eg 20 seconds time it is very hard to set accurately. Other microwaves that I’ve used have a button to press for multiples of 10 seconds, or have a quick start 30 second button which are really useful.
