As a standard drive it’s fine. Not very fast and the USB 3 connection is outdated. If you’re working with big data such as 4K video, buy an SSD or an 3.5″ form factor HDD instead.
This was described as having a disk speed of 7200 RPM, but this is inaccurate as it is not possible for a 2.5″ form factor HDD to have those speeds. This drive’s disk speed is no more than 5400 RPM which results in transfer speeds up to 130 MB/s.
The drive is okay for documents, photos and mid quality video, but that’s about it.

I bought this for backing up photos and other work files. It’s quick, plug and play, and is very economical, so much so that I’ve ordered another one.
The first was through collect, the second through delivery, which is next day.
I’m definitely content.

I have given this a 1 star review as when i got it there was no connector is the hard drive for my to connect it to my pc so i sent it back

once connected, which took longer than expected it works perfectly fine, plug and play, speed fine, easy to purchase from Argos and similar price to Amazon etc. well pleased

bit bulkier than expected, average write speed, slight write noises sometimes but overall works as expected. bit pricey for what it is.
