I decided to buy a new router for my home WiFi network. This one seemed to have good reviews so purchased from Argos for ease. Connected it to my present broadband provider router and attached all of my smart gadgets to the new one. Coverage around the house is good, especially the 2.4g. Was easy to configure and alter network names and passwords etc. using the TP app. Only gave 4 stars because the 5g network strength is not good enough to get the fastest speeds in some of the other rooms. I would recommend based on my experience so far.

We bought this but had to return it as we have a telephone line for our office computers and needed a modem to connect to the internet.
This was not immediately obvious from the information displayed in the advert.

Upgraded recently from openreach powered full fibre to cityfibre product. I had been using a ( secondhand ) tp link vr2800 and the linksys router the ISP provided gave good wifi coverage but very little configuration options. For instance full wifi scheduling ( call me silly but I want as little RF at night as possible.)
I bought this once I realised I couldn’t do what I wanted with the ISP router and figured my 8+ years old box wasnt up to the full 900mbps product I was getting.
Plenty of fast ethernet connections for my hardwired home. Even the screw holes for the wall mounting were in same place!
App is useful for monitoring. Runs nice and cool too.
Setup was fairly simple after a quick Google for the ipv6 settings as ( isp a bit vague)
I recycled my old wifi name and password so things like roku sticks and phones didn’t need faffing with.
All good so far.

This router was bought as a New Year gift. When we tried to install it, it kept turning on and off. We tried different sockets and different places, but the problem stayed. I believe the router is faulty.

Bought this router a few weeks ago. Excellent decision. Bit of a chew setting it up, but got there in the end. Excellent signal and very fast speed. Highly recommend.

Maybe too soon to tell! More importantly, where are the Nectar points I was promised when endeavouring to link my account number with the Argos system – farce?!

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and it it functioning well, it has improved the strength of my WiFi with it any lag.
