Bought the Super Pocket TAITO Edition as a gift for my 9-year-old and it’s been a hit. It’s gloriously old-school: no microtransactions, no “claim your daily reward” just proper games that make you earn progress (and occasionally your pride)
It’s comfortable to hold and the size feels just right.
Quick to pick up, offline play, and a perfect antidote to modern pay-to-wait nonsense.
Even Dad’s (myself) had to negotiate for a turn 😏
Oh. And the battery is just enough (around 4hrs)

Good selection of games and good quality little pocket games ideal for long journeys. Batter life is decent as it well. We also bought the protective cases which I recommend.

Great little device. Games run smoothly, and are really fun to play when there’s a couple of moments spare to fill some time. Would have blown my mind as a kid with the backlight and games to play in the back of the car. With the function of the Evercade cartridges too honestly a really cool gift.

Fabulous little machine. Plays my entire library of Evercade games and the bright screen and crisp images makes this a great travel companion.

This handheld gaming console is great for travelling and stops you doom scrolling on your smartphone whilst been relaxing as you focus on some classic games. I enjoy Puzzle Bobble I remember it as Bust-A-Move 3 on PS1 basically the console version, it’s a classic puzzle game in which you match the coloured bubbles together. This console also includes a version of the original Space Invaders a classic a bit before my time, simple of paper but tricky in reality and the faster updated Space Invaders ’91. Other games I was unfamiliar with including platformer New Zealand story are also enjoyable. I’ve seen reviews suggesting the Taito version of this console from the makers of Evercade is the best one. It works with all over Evercade game cartridges too some available on Argos and some others elsewhere, but have yet to try any others, there are classics from Atari, Intellivision as well as Tomb Raider also available.
Great product, solid, good battery life, and bright vibrant screen.

Good selection of retro games. Screen is a bit small but easy to travel with. If you like retro games this a great buy

Great screen quality with some fun retro games preloaded

Nice little gadget, but you can’t reconfigure the buttons on street fighter 2, you have to use the buttons at the back for the hard kick and punch, which makes the game almost impossible to play, some games are easier to play than others

The build quality is excellent, as is the design and the array of games for the system. Excellent retro gaming experience.
