Looks good and is efficient. Ignore the accompanying instructions, The glass jar is weighty enough to lock the jug. Turning it to lock, as needed with most blenders, loosens the base and allows liquid to escape. It’s not too big. A good price.

I bought as an emergency since my old blender stopped working. I started to use out the same day. The only problem was that there was no instruction that the base of the jar can be unscrewed, and I happen to unscrew it when placed on the motor unit and everything spilled out like a volcano. So a lot of mess and waste. So the jar merely sits on the motor unit and no need to lock it in like the usual blenders, just lift the jar when done, do not turn it, otherwise the bottom will unscrew.
